Memory Lane

When I was a kid, I remember visiting my Granny often.  I looked forward to many things about that visit, but I loved exploring the “formal” living room.  This is where Granny displayed her family pictures.  There were frames of images taken long ago when my mom was little.  I loved seeing my Granny in pictures with her children.  She always added to the frames, so every cousin had an updated school portrait or family portrait.  It was kinda like my way of taking attendance.  These are my people.  Seeing my picture among them always made me feel loved.

My Family Story
